What Is Mobliza?

Mobliza is the uber texting tool for busy people. Here are some uses for Mobliza:


  1. Now you won't be rude when you receive text messages at dinner! Mobliza will autorespond to people that you'll call them back.

  2. Have kids? Do they text when you're out? Did you buy them an expensive smartphone? Well, put that thing to good use! Let the PHONE tell their friends they'll call back!

  3. In class or in a meeting and don't want people bothering you? Use Mobliza's Away mode!

  4. Bored? Don't want to talk to your girlfriend? Have her talk to Mobliza with Auto mode. Mobliza understands!

Mobliza Features

There are three modes: Mobliza, Auto, and Away.

Mobliza

Here you can talk with Mobliza and carry on conversations. It's more of a game.

Auto

Let Mobliza handle your conversations for you. Your friends/enemies/whatever can text your phone and Mobliza will try to have conversations with them! Try "tell me a joke". Watch out, Mobliza sometimes has a dirty sense of humor.

To enable/disable Auto mode, check/uncheck the Auto box. All conversations will be logged on the Away tab. Note that Mobliza will only respond to conversations if Auto or Away is checked!

Away

In a meeting, but want people to know you can't answer them? Set your away messages here, just like instant messaging. Simply enter a message you'd like to use, then tap "+". To remove a message, tap "-". You can even insert date, time, and sender name by inserting %d, %t, and %n in the message.

To enable/disable Away mode, check/uncheck the Away box. All conversations will be logged. Select the phone number / contact from the conversations dropdown if you'd like to review or continue the conversation. Note that Mobliza will only respond to conversations if Away or Auto is checked!

You also have many options when viewing a conversation. Simply tap the conversation and you can call the sender, clear the conversation, or clear all conversations stored in Mobliza.

Sounds

By default, Mobliza likes to play a sound when a message has been received. To turn this off, uncheck Sound from the menu.

System Requirements

  • Phone running Windows Mobile 6 Professional or Higher
  • 3 megabytes of free space
  • .NET Compact Framework 3.5 (if it isn't already installed)

If I buy Mobliza, do I have to pay for updates?
No, all Mobliza updates will be free. You only have to pay once. Yes, you're a customer for life, muhahahaha.
I’m getting an error that I need the .NET Compact Framework installed. What do I do?
Download the Compact Framework from here, install it, and you’re good to go!
I have a custom ROM. Will this application work?
It should work fine. Unlike older versions of Mobliza, version 1.2 and beyond run a different database and don't have all the custom ROM compatibility issues from before.
Will you build an iPhone version of Mobliza?
We’d love to. Unfortunately, Apple only wants you using their texting software. Complain to them.
Will you build an Android version of Mobliza?
If we get enough requests, sure.

Will you pay for my cell phone costs if I get charged by my provider for sending so many texts?
No, you’re responsible for that. Look at you, all grown up with a cell phone.
Will Mobliza work with international numbers?
Yes.
Hey, wasn't Mobliza free at one point?
Yes, but we had a lot of feature requests. To keep on spending time on Mobliza, we've added the features (contact list integration, remaining bug fixes, and more) you've asked for. We've also set the price to $1.99, so really, is that so bad for great software?

You're responsible for anything that happens to you while using this program. By using this software, you agree to *not* hold me, my heirs, my assigns, TAG, The Auri Group, my company(s) and so forth liable for any costs, damages, and/or liabilities arising out of the use of this software. End User License Agreement

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR MOBLIZA IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTINUING WITH THIS PROGRAM INSTALL: This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and THE AURI GROUP, LLC ("TAG"). for the TAG software product(s) identified above which may include associated software components, media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. This license agreement represents the entire agreement concerning the program between you and TAG, (referred to as "licenser"), and it supersedes any prior proposal, representation, or understanding between the parties. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE.
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as follows:
(a) Installation and Use.
TAG grants you the right to install and use copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on your computer running a validly licensed copy of the operating system for which the SOFTWARE PRODUCT was designed [e.g., Windows Mobile 6].
(b) Backup Copies.
You may also make copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT as may be necessary for backup and archival purposes.

2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
(a) Maintenance of Copyright Notices.
You must not remove or alter any copyright notices on any and all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
(b) Distribution.
You may not distribute copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to third parties, nor may you distribute this software for any commercial purpose.
(c) Prohibition on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
(d) Rental.
You may not rent, lease, or lend the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
(e) Support Services.
TAG may provide you with support services related to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("Support Services"). Any supplemental software code provided to you as part of the Support Services shall be considered part of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA.
(f) Compliance with Applicable Laws.
You must comply with all applicable laws regarding use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

3. TERMINATION
Without prejudice to any other rights, TAG may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in your possession.

4. COPYRIGHT
All title, including but not limited to copyrights, in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and any copies thereof are owned by TAG or its suppliers. All title and intellectual property rights in and to the content which may be accessed through use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is the property of the respective content owner and may be protected by applicable copyright or other intellectual property laws and treaties. This EULA grants you no rights to use such content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by TAG.

5. NO WARRANTIES
TAG expressly disclaims any warranty for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is provided "As Is" without any express or implied warranty of any kind, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability, noninfringement, or fitness of a particular purpose. TAG does not warrant or assume responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of any information, text, graphics, links or other items contained within the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. TAG makes no warranties respecting any harm that may be caused by the transmission of a computer virus, worm, time bomb, logic bomb, or other such computer program. TAG further expressly disclaims any warranty or representation to Authorized Users or to any third party.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY In no event shall TAG be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, or lost information) rising out of "Authorized Users" use of or inability to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, even if TAG has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will TAG be liable for loss of data or for indirect, special, incidental, consequential (including lost profit), or other damages based in contract, tort or otherwise. TAG shall have no liability with respect to the content of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or any part thereof, including but not limited to errors or omissions contained therein, libel, infringements of rights of publicity, privacy, trademark rights, business interruption, personal injury, loss of privacy, moral rights or the disclosure of confidential information.
